1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SkillsforMed website, mobile app, or online learning platform (“Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Eligibility

  • Our platform is intended for adult learners (18+).
  • Courses requiring professional qualification may need supporting documents.

3. Use of Services

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration details.
  • Use the platform only for personal learning.
  • Not misuse or disrupt sessions, communities, or systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials.

4. Course Access & Delivery

  • Access is provided immediately after successful payment.
  • Content includes videos, assessments, reading material, and certifications.
  • Some programs (e.g., ICN) are run in partnership with CAHO and other recognised bodies.
  • Every course has qualified faculty, speakers, or subject experts.

4.A Course Validity & Completion Timeline

Each course comes with a lifetime access period, allowing learners to revisit content anytime unless otherwise specified. While there is no strict deadline to complete the course, certain programs may have recommended timelines or assessment windows.

SkillsforMed reserves the right to update course content or retire outdated modules as part of platform maintenance.

5. Platform Format

  • SkillsforMed primarily offers online, self-paced courses.
  • Onsite or hands-on training is provided only for hospitals on request.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials including videos, PDFs, slides, graphics, assessments, and certifications are owned by SkillsforMed and its partners.

Users may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute content.
  • Share login credentials.
  • Record or reproduce sessions.

Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.

7. Certification

  • Certificates are issued upon completion of the required modules, assessments, or attendance criteria.
  • Partnered certifications include co-branded recognition from associated organisations.

8. Payments

  • All prices are displayed in INR.
  • Payment confirms agreement with all policies including refund rules.
  • Transactions are processed through secure gateways.

9. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds are allowed only under the following conditions:

  • Duplicate payment.
  • Course not activated.
  • Technical access issues (unresolved).

Refunds are not provided if it has been more than 30 days since the date of purchase. Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days.

9.A Course or Batch Transfer Policy

Enrollment is non-transferable across users. Exceptions may be made in exceptional cases. SkillsforMed reserves the right to make a decision on the same.

However, learners may request:

  • Batch Transfers: You may request to move to a future batch of the same course, subject to availability and administrative approval. Additional fees may apply based on changes in pricing or batch structure.
  • Course Transfers: Transfers from one course to another are allowed only in exceptional cases, and must be requested within 7 days of enrollment. Such transfers may be approved at SkillsforMed’s discretion and may involve fee adjustments.

Requests must be submitted to support@skillsformed.com and will be processed in 5–7 working days.

10. Suspension or Termination

SkillsforMed may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Misuse of content.
  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Abuse or harassment.
  • Policy violations.

11. User Conduct

Prohibited actions include:

  • Uploading harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
  • Re-using content for other purposes without prior approvals.
  • Sharing pirated materials.
  • Misrepresenting identity.
  • Attempting unauthorized access.

12. Disclaimers

  • SkillsforMed provides training for professional development, not medical or clinical diagnosis.
  • Programs do not replace formal institutional training or regulatory licensing.
  • Learning outcomes vary by individual effort.

13. Limitation of Liability

SkillsforMed is not liable for:

  • Loss of data.
  • Downtime or technical errors.
  • Decisions made using training content.
  • External factors beyond our control.

14. Third-Party Services & Partnerships

  • We may integrate tools, videos, or services from third parties.
  • Partner organizations (e.g., CAHO) may co-deliver or endorse certain programs.
  • Their terms may apply where relevant.

15. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by Indian law.
  • Jurisdiction: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

16. Grievance Redressal (As per IT Rules 2021)

17. Updates to Terms
